Day 1Cochin Arrival – Munnar

Day 1: Cochin Arrival – Munnar

  • Arrival at Cochin (Airport/Railway Station), where our representative will receive you.
  • Start your journey to Munnar (130 km, approximately 4.5 hours).
  • Enroute, visit the stunning Cheeyapara and Vallara Waterfalls (seasonal).
  • Visit the Tea Gardens (if open) and immerse yourself in the lush green surroundings.
  • Check-in at your hotel in Munnar for an overnight stay.

Day 2Munnar Sightseeing

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, start exploring Munnar’s popular attractions:
    • Mattupetty Dam: Famous for its dam and the tranquil lake.
    • Kundala Lake: Visit Asia’s first Arch Dam amidst a scenic landscape.
    • Echo Point: A spot known for its natural beauty and echo phenomenon.
  • In the afternoon, visit:
    • Top Station or Eravikulam National Park (home to the Nilgiri Tahr).
    • Optional visits to Blossom Park and the Tea Museum based on interest and time.
  • Return to your hotel in Munnar for an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, depart for Thekkady (110 km, approximately 3.5 hours).
  • Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and visit Periyar National Park, famous for wildlife and scenic beauty.
    • Optional: Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake or Jeep Safari.
    • Cultural activities like Kathakali dance, Kalaripayattu (martial arts), and Elephant rides are also available for those interested.

  • En route, visit the famous Jatayu Park, which houses the world’s largest bird sculpture.
  • Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to your beach resort.
  • In the evening, relax and witness the spectacular sunset at Kovalam Beach.
  • Overnight stay at the resort in Kovalam.

Day 6Poovar Island Excursion

  • After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Poovar Island.
    • Explore the Mangrove forests along the Neyyar River.

  • Return to Kovalam in the evening for an overnight stay at the resort.

– Child below 5 years is complimentary.

– Any change in the date of travel or the number of persons travelling the tour cost offered may vary.

– Similar category hotels will be arranged if rooms are unavailable in above listed hotels as per the required dates.

– Some hotels provide only mattress in case when extra bed is required and not cot.

– We suggest you check reviews and location of hotels to make sure the selected hotel is as per your interests and any change of hotel upon arrival retention fee will be charged.

– Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly to the hotel by guests as per the hotel policy.

– In Munnar, Thekkady, Ootty and Kodaikanal rooms are usually Non – A/C since these are cold regions unless mentioned otherwise.

– Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and the hotel may charge extra for the same

– In A/C Deluxe Category Houseboat, A/C will be operational only from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. in the bedroom.

– Houseboat check in starts from 12.30 Noon and cruising time is till 5 PM and there after boat will be anchored as per the Government regulations.

– For houseboats Deluxe is the base category and premium & luxury boats are higher category houseboats which are available on the additional cost.

– Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and based on availability of hotels mentioned

– Eravikulam National Park Munnar will be closed for 3 months in a year based upon the breeding period of the goats (Nilgiri Tahr)

– Some sightseeing spots might be closed on certain days, and we won’t be able to compensate if travelling falls on those days.

– Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing, destinations due to political strike or roadblocks.
Skybright Holidays does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in houseboat is included) and personal expenses.

– During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern.

– During the tour, if you face any difficulty or lag in service, it should be informed to the concerned Trip Advisor at the earliest to act upon immediately.
